US Operations Manager
About Us
We’re building the future of sport. Bolt6 is a sports technology company at the forefront of visual innovation – from real-time tracking and data overlays, to immersive broadcast graphics and AR experiences. We work across tennis, golf, motorsport, volleyball, and more; partnering with rights holders and broadcasters to elevate how sport is seen, understood, and enjoyed.
What You’ll Do
The Operations Manager (US) leads the charge on delivering standout projects across the US, from first conversations to flawless execution. This is a fast-paced role, which includes full P&L ownership, where commercial instinct and operational precision go hand in hand. You’ll grow and lead a high-performing team, champion their development, and build the systems that scale with us. Expect to be deep in the action: driving delivery, managing resources, refining processes, and always pushing for better.
- Responsibility and Ownership: Full ownership for the successful delivery of every event within your area of responsibility. Whilst you will find a lot of support available from the Operations Director and other senior team members, this is a highly autonomous role, where you are encouraged to make (and justify) your own decisions about what is best for operational excellence and business growth.
 - Project Management & Execution: You will be responsible for ensuring the operational team is effectively delivering and you are on target for the P&L of your business area, hitting key EBIT milestones through a combination of top-line growth and bottom-line savings. Ensure all projects are executed on time, within budget, and to the highest quality standards.
 - Team Coordination: You will directly manage a team of Operations Engineers. This will include assessing current operational models and changing them to improve delivery and efficiency.
 - Client Liaison: Serve as the point of contact for clients and stakeholders, managing expectations and providing clear communication on project status, technical requirements, and operational logistics.
 - Logistics & Planning: Develop and execute detailed logistics plans, including equipment transport, installation schedules, and staffing needs, to ensure smooth operations at diverse event locations.
 - Staffing and Recruitment: Identify staffing needs both for fulltime and freelance employees. Take ownership of finding and recruiting the staff required.
 - Quality Control & Troubleshooting: Implement rigorous quality control processes to ensure system functionality and performance. Ensure support is provided during events to quickly resolve any technical issues.
 - Safety & Compliance: Ensure all operations comply with health and safety regulations, including risk assessments, equipment checks, and adherence to local and international standards.
 - Continuous Improvement: Analyse operational performance and client feedback to identify areas for improvement. Develop and implement strategies to optimise processes and enhance service delivery.
 - Budget Management: Manage project budgets, track expenses, and provide regular financial reporting. Work with procurement and finance teams to ensure cost-effective resource allocation.
 - Training & Development: Oversee the training and development of the technical team, ensuring they have the necessary skills and knowledge to deliver high-quality service.
 - Contractual Obligations: Understand our contractual obligations for each event we deliver and ensure that we meet all aspects of this.
 - Invoicing: Ensure that all events are invoiced correctly and on time.

To accomplish the above it is imperative that you are comfortable being a part of the on-site teams delivering, building relationships, and improving your understanding of the wider industry, using your entrepreneurial and technical skills to identify complementary areas for growth.
